Le Jardin des Chefs
The Fédération Française de Tennis had a new Roland-Garros 2026 concept, Le Jardin des Chefs, and one window to launch it : Day one of the tournament.
We built the idea from the inside out. Two chefs : Juan Arbelaez and Jessica Prealpato, facing each other across the clay, trading shot for shot under the watchful eye of referee Mansour Bahrami.
Every detail lived in the world of tennis: the format, the tension, the language, down to the names of the dishes Mansour called out as the rallying points of each round.
The film was designed to open the fortnight. A two-week programme bringing together over thirty chefs, and this was its starting gun.
Creative direction, script, and production, handled entirely in-house.
The gamble paid off.
We'd made a deliberate creative choice : staging the whole thing somewhere between a Spaghetti Western, Tarantino, and Wes Anderson.
Deadpan tension, precise framing, a world slightly too stylised to be real.
The chefs loved it. The comments on social channels were overwhelmingly positive.
And the film landed exactly where we wanted it to, with an audience that got the joke and came back for more.
