PARIS, July 16, 2026 – The National Football League today announces its first broadcast agreements for the French market, a few months after officially naming France as a new strategic market for the league. For the 2026 season, the NFL is partnering with France Télévisions, L'Équipe, and beIN Sports to offer French fans unprecedented coverage of American football, both free-to-air and on pay channels. This announcement comes ahead of the very first NFL Paris Game, which will pit the Pittsburgh Steelers against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, October 25th, 2026, at the Stade de France.
France Télévisions will broadcast the first NFL regular season game ever played in France. The NFL Paris Game will air live and free-to-air on one of the group's flagship channels [France 2 or France 3, to be confirmed], on the free digital channel france.tv Sports, and on the france.tv platform. The broadcast will include the entire halftime show as well as a production setup on-site at the Stade de France. In the month leading up to the game, France Télévisions will devote segments to the NFL in its flagship sports programs, including Stade 2, Stade 2 La Quotidienne, and Télématin. The group will also broadcast live three international games played in London on October 4, 11, and 18, building momentum toward the Paris event.
L'Équipe will offer free-to-air coverage of the NFL throughout the season, with one live game every Sunday of the regular season at 10:00 PM (Paris time) on La Chaîne L'Équipe and L'Équipe Live. The coverage also includes the season's major events: one playoff game per round (Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championships), the Super Bowl, as well as two international games played in Europe, in Madrid on November 8 and in Munich on November 15. L'Équipe will also re-air the NFL Paris Game on Sunday, October 25 at 9:00 PM on its free channel.
beIN Sports becomes the NFL's pay-TV partner in France for the 2026 season, with more than 100 games broadcast live. The coverage includes up to five games per week during the regular season, including the Sunday matchups at 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and Thursday Night Football, the three Thanksgiving games, the NFL Paris Game, as well as the NFL RedZone format, which lets viewers follow the key moments of every Sunday game live. beIN Sports will also broadcast the entire postseason, with all twelve playoff games and the Super Bowl.
